I have an extra ECU (if its the aluminum box in the back of the car where the seats would be)

Can I flash one and then switch them back and forth w/o the dealer knowing?

Thanks.

Hi Karl, you can switch back and forth (does your second ECU currently work in the car right now or does it need to be initialized?). The ECUs do store "operating" hours and things like that but other than that you'll be fine.

The one is the car now was from FVD, which came from the exhaust system. The set up sucked so I put all the stock crap back on and left the FVD ECU in.

So I have the stock one sitting in a box somewhere with zero miles on it .
