It is used to keep the big $hit out of the radiators, very beneficial for the track.
Nice job on the conversion.

great builds, i love your work. i am interested in what was done to suspension and if awd still in tact. i am sure we would all love to see the specs on that thing...must be pulling some serious power to grant those steam rollers! how does this car differ from Cary's, rather than the obvious.
congrats on world challenge victory!

Car still has AWD retained. Power is provided by a Protomotive kit
This car had a very early turbo kit on it and had some driveability and hardware issues, we updated the kit and worked with Todd in getting the driveability taken care of. The car now runs great and can be driven in rush hour traffic all day long with no problems.
Suspension is RUF- PSS9.
We did the body conversion, wheels and paint the client purchased the car with most of the performance upgrade already done.
The car drives really well and has enough power to spin the wheels in 3rd at WOT.
I dont know if Cary's car has this body conversion on it. I know he was talking about going this wide........If you look at the first pictures the rockers looked like they were 2x4's bolted to the car. We changed there shape and rounded them out a bit improving the lines of the car.
