Thoughts on GT3 prices now
I've been watching the GT3 Market for sometime now, I personally think that price will not dip below 105k for any matter. Maybe just maybe, a gt3 comes along with 20,000 miles, then it could go for less.
These are P-cars, not F-cars. Even "rare", they are fairly plentiful, and will never have the same panache as an F-car. Except for rare classics, and odd-ball models like the last air-cooled year, prices always come down. Current 997 GT3 prices may or may not survive the current economic scare, but when the updated model comes out, prices will take at least a $10-$20k adjustment, IMO. People are not going to pay (optionless) MSRP for two year old Porsches when the mo-better version isn't much more.

Not sure if EBay is an accurate reflection of the market, but no cars seem to be getting any bids much north of $100k on EBay. There seems to be a $10k to $15k gap between buyers and sellers.
Wow, they were banking on making 15K from your car but I hope they can at least break even. You definitely sold it at the right time.
Kevin I just had a feeling. But really It was my back issue that prompted me to get serious about selling. I just couldnt drive it and enjoy it. I also told my wife to take all our money out of the stock market 2 months ago. Dont know why I did that.
Yes, it was unfortunate but your health comes first. At least you can drive the AMG in comfort.
I should've just bought a GT3 a year ago at the Dow high, regardless of their current market values, it would've been a much better investment than keeping the money in my brokerage account.
sad but true...
Luckily my most affected asset has been my 401(k) and I still got about 30 years before I collect on that so I'm sure it'll recover by then. *fingers crossed*
check this... sub $100K are starting to trickle into the marketplace...
