Above is a pic of a GMG car posted on their site. It is the first time I've seen a dymag wheel with a concave face as opposed to the straight face (as seen on the front wheel). Is this a new design?

I truly believe that is a camera angle. There are no new Dymag wheel styles, certainly for the US.

My Dymags are presently back to England to rectify air leak issues. I will check with them.

I will further confirm with my local wheel expert and others can do the same with whomever they deal with.

Cheers

There are concave dymag faces, i'm assuming its dependent on the car. Here is an example of what I'm talking about on the black series:

This is a new style Dymag - this was the first set on a 997 GT3 with this NEW design.

As you all know Dymag is updating the material and design of the wheel centers and shoudl be shipping wheels around the end of the year.

If you need more info please feel free to email me.

Actually it is not the first set of the newly designed wheels .....

Oakley Design have these on their GT2 and GT3 demonstrators.

True it maybe the first on a customers car but I have a set of these new designed wheels on the way for my 987.

Its based on offset, Dymag has two different spoke profiles and offset and brake clearance will determine which profile you get. I have seen the recessed rear wheels on a 997 before, I believe it was in korea, however as you can tell from the photos the rear offset is very aggressive in comparison to some of the other dymag fitments you see on 997's.
