The GT3

When the GT3 first came out in Europe, what was the difference between that one and the American version? Were there differences with the engine, suspension, etc. thanks

There was no U.S. version when the first GT3 came out in 1999/2000(?). The only GT3 sold in the U.S. is the current car.

The GT3 Mk. 1 (never sold here) had a 3.6 liter 360bhp engine. The GT3 Mk. 2 (sold here and overseas) has a 3.8 liter 380bhp engine. Both are dry-sump motors based off of the old 1994 911 Turbo 3.6 engine case.
