Still beating this nearly dead horse - I just can't give up over such a simple sticker replacement...now its personal! I did some further digging and located a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) dated 03/07/2006 "PURCHASING VIN PLATES, CERTIFICATION LABELS, EMISSION LABELS AND 987/997 TIRE PRESSURE LABELS - REVISED" on Renntech.org which I am unable to attach here due to copyright restrictions. This TSB includes an order form that shows the Tire Pressure Sticker can be ordered for any 987 or 997 at a dealer cost of US$70. I was quoted US$300 by 2 different dealers....really?! Could there be that much markup on something so simple? $70 is still way too much for a sticker however its a whole lot less than $300 - on Monday I'm going to try again to order one...armed with this TSB!

I was in early this morning and did some checking. Canadian list price on the sticker is $440. Now, the sticker posted from Kermit up there has a part number on it. It is actually a good number, for $17.

I think most of the price of this is some sort of paperwork fee. I'm also told they take up to 4 months to create it for you.

What about some photoshop work and a laser printer?

Really? that is a good part # that can be ordered? That is not what I have been told by a few dealers however if your information is correct that would be a great result. Who were you speaking with (at MCL or ?) who confirmed the part number could be ordered? I'll call them right away.
