The Koenigsegg CCX is insane, it looks like it pulls so hard.

I love the Top Gear episode where the Stig crashes it! I wonder if they had a tail on this car.

While the Zonda was only .15 seconds slower than the MC12, it sure looked a lot easier to get to that time in the Zonda than the MC12. It looked like he was really fighting the wheel in a few spots in the MC12.....

AND the Zonda has misfiring problems towards the end. No doubt it would have been a copule seconds faster on top of the .15 if it was running corectly. But they are so close a second here or there doesnt really matter.

haven't hear of any dispute or controversy over the zr1 or z06 ring times, can you cite a source? also, the viper acr posted a time quicker than any of these "super exptics", do you think chrysler was bs'ing also?

Chrysler didn't do the run with the ACR Viper, it was the american Viper owners club together with german racingteam Zakspeed (maybe known to some of you).
I was there when they did last test drives with the cars (they had two there) and it was really professional: two racedrivers (Sascha Bert and Duncan Huisman), professional time-measuring equipment and specialists from Zakspeed who adjusted the car just for the perfect lap.

The car itself was a problem, because the gear-ratios don't fit with the Ring (second gear to short, third gear to long or something like that).
Anywhere in the web is the video of their recordlap and you can hear what I mean, because the driver drove into the limiter in front of some corners, which was (according to him) better than shifting and down-shifting in front of the corners (he called the car "a little b*tch", because it made some driftings in every direction when he tested it for a lap with up- and down-shifting in front of those corners).

But I'm totally off-topic now
