If the CGT couldn't do everything better than a 15 year old car(within the same pricerange) it would be pretty embarasing...

For all you drag racing fans, some simple factory mods can make the F40 dust the CGT in a straight line.
The CGT is not that much faster than an F40 even in stock form, both cars are in the 11's for the standing quarter.
The car is so detuned, 700hp can be achieved with simple bolt ons.

800hp is in full race trim... your engine would have to be rebuilt after every track day and it would not be very streetable because of the lumpy race cams.
As for the F40, all you have to do is swap turbos and intercoolers. You can still run it on the street, no problem. I've seen people run even 800hp on the street like Roland Linder who has an F40 LM replica.
This is the advantage of tuning Turbo cars vs. NA cars. Turbo cars can make big HP with relatively simple bolt on parts.
Not to mention the cost differential between redoing a motor vs. just swapping turbos.
Do you have any idea what it would cost to add 200 horse to a Carrera GT V10, especially with Porsche Motorsports pricing???
Tell you what, try adding reliable HP to your Ferrari and then tell me what you think.
Even if you add the twin Novitec superchargers (whose reliability is yet to be proven) for 560hp for $40,000 or more, it will still get its *** kicked by a GT2 with even $10K worth of turbo tuning parts. Go the NA tuning route on your 360 and it is the law of DIMINISHING returns!!!

There is a guy in Malibu that uses an F40 as a daily grocery getter. No joke. The rule with italian garbage like Ferrari is that they get more reliable the more you drive it. It's like most belt driven cars I guess.
