Yea. I'm shallow. I don't really care if corvettes are beating the ferraris on the track. I just like looking at the ferraris to go around and around. I don't like looking at the corvettes. The cars on the track is a moving billboard. The look help sell more cars.

The 996GT3RS race cars never looked good to me. I liked the 993 race cars better. Even better is the old 911s in the 70s with the big spoilers. Those were awesome and menacing looking.

This thread was not about performance or winning races. It was just a simple question about the design of a race car.

I can see you arguing about the looks of a 997 street car even though I think it looks amazing. But come on, its a cup car, it is the ultimate in performance. I bet you will move over when you hear that thing coming up on you down a straight or anywhere on a race track for that matter. Cant wait to run with them next season on the track
