Great looking GT3...perfectly modded. IMO, the CCW C10 is the best track wheel out there for the GT3 in terms of weight, quality and price.

Nitto NT01's are basically the same compound as Toyo R888....so they are better than RA1's, as good as R888's but cheaper than both. RA1's come with deep tread depth, so they need to be shaved, but NT01's don't.

They stock Porsche sizes in 18", but not 19". Give them a try next time around. We've got plenty of guys in my area running them on their GT3's and 2S's with good results. They are very predictable at the limit (which I find fun) and have a long life, so unless your in time trials....these are a very, very good "track-day" tire.

RA1 is faster than A048
those yoko's dont work on GT3 anyways.

when is your first day with those?

hey john. the wheels fit perfect.
1st day with them will be this friday...unless it rains.

yeah i might try NT01's next. i know one guy with 6gt3 who's very happy with them at the local track. great having more choices now with 18" and at 'reasonable' prices. the 19" corsas punched a hole thru my wallet and that was only for a pair of rears.

I think you will be very pleased with the 18" at Thunderhill. Beware trying the Hoosiers - you can't go back!

i would go with hoosiers if the track was just around the corner or if someone hauls the wheels for me.
