Leave them matt black, the paint job is right and there's no point messing with them, they'll only chip badly once you get really moving.

My factory painted wheels are holding up pretty good and dymag offers them painted. I am going to try them black though without decals first.

Thanks for the info on the decal companies. Speed of flight, your GT3 is awesome. The decals look perfect, so I went with poschestripes.com. Yellow RS side decals and gray on yellow windshield banner. Hopefully it looks good..

great. looking forward to seeing it. need some finesse cutting the decals between the door jams as the middle portion is one-piece. so luckily i had someone with steady hands.

I did it because the new wheels are a little boring and the yellow roll bar stands out too much. It's personal preference, but I think she'd look great with stripes and painted wheels. You could do any color too!

 

i think with silver wheels on white gt3 looks great as-is. but with black, white, or any color wheels, the body looks like one big empty canvas. looks chubby. lol. so i opted for side decals. never regretted it.

 

 

 

 

I think they look pretty good and dropping nearly 40lbs from the wheels is definitely noticeable. The steering is much lighter.

What do you guys think? Still think matte black is the best color for them? Should I paint them another color? Do the yellow RS side decals?

Leave car as is without the yellow side stripe. Less is more. You have just enough yellow without side stripes to make it interesting.Any more looks gaudy imo and that you are trying too hard. Just my 2 cents.
