GT3 color? Opinions needed!
These colors may have looked a little odd too when you first saw them.

Anyone think I should paint the Dymag wheels yellow?
Looks great as is. I think you could certainly get away with the yellow wheels, but I do prefer the car as is. I have seen a GT3 in Black with yellow accents and wheels, and IMHO it looked a bit much. It's just enough with the stripe, calipers and roll bar. Dymags rock!
+1 on this one. If you could paint the wheels to somewhat match the color scheme of your current wheels, it would look sick.
Thanks!
Thanks for your opinion! I'll probably leave the wheels black.
Thanks! Slate Gray Metallic was a specialty color, and is discontinued now!
Thanks! I like her look now too. I'll probably skip the yellow wheels. It is tempting to go for the full RS look though (wheels/side mirrors/wing end plates).
Thanks! Slate metallic Dymags would be awesome!

I think it looks great! I also think a yellow lip would set the wheels off nicely. I was completely against putting a colored wheel lip on my car, but when I finally did I wondered why I did not do it sooner.
Good point. I actually have a machined groove just beyond the lip of the wheel so I decided instead of painting it (in case I did not like the way it looked) I would just use some vinyl pinstripe material. I plan on snapping some pics of the car this weekend. Will post when I do.
With the color contrast and the wing, I think it's the only way to go.
Not to mention, the RS 911's have been the only models to come standard with stripes. From the Carrera RS in 1973 to the 996/7 GT3 RS's.
Because it is no RS?
