996-3 exhaust and headers

Before (stock exhaust removed, 100 lbs)


After - custom ASP headers and exhaust, 321 stainless)


Almost done -- then to the dyno


Stock exhaust, Stock DME
Dyno results: 360 hp to the wheels

Target with new set up: 390+ to the wheels with RS Tuning/Caragraphic/FVD DME

not yet...
I will post them once I have them.
When they are done with the install, they will have it dyno'd.
Then to Speedware for new rotors and brake fluild
Then to a body shop to have the new rear bumper painted to match.
Then back to me for the appropriate thrashing
I will post final pics and video clips when I get it back.

Cup bumper with the center exit for the exhaust I presume! Looks good and I'm looking forward to more pictures and your impression.

How close are the headers to the tires and are you worried about heat from them affecting the tires???

Update:
drove it today
above 5000 rpms -- satan's hell hounds mean
3500 rpms and below (cruising) -- sounds like a pussycat purring

I will update with sound clips when I have them... I just dropped in for a quick blast.

I am very pleased

Any CE lights? It looks like there are no O2 sensors on that set up. Looks great though. Do they plan on marketing this set up on a large scale?
