You should also consider if you will and how much track time your car will see, also if you will install a rollbar later, If this is the case the expensive foldable GT2 don't make much sense since the access to the back is very restricted. 6GT3 are excellent at the track, lighter, confortable and you keep a OEM look.
If this is a mostly a street car and money is not a point in discussion the GT2 seats will serve the purpose well and are great looking, I can no comment on confort since i never tried them, some say they are not as confortable.

Golf clubs fit well in the passenger seat. Waste of time and energy to try and put them in the back.

 

I would also considr Recaro Pole Position seats, they look better then 996 GT3 to me.

 

the adaptive sport seats are ~20 lbs heavier each than the gt2 bucket seats. i saved a grand total of ~40 lbs.

the gt2 seats are very comfortable (for me). it's only tough getting in and out, like any other bucket seats.
