CGT oil change (URGENT!)

Got my car into a shop to do an oil change and we are a bit stuck here.

What we try to do is unscrew central bolt from the oil filter, but oil dips painfully slowly (like 100ml in 10 minutes). We are not sure if there is a dedicated oil change valve.

Need help ASAP, as i am actually in the service right now!

Another question - how many liters do we need to fill?

Any help appreciated

Your best bet is to call a professional race shop like

GMG (714) 432 - 1582
-ask for Fabryce or any tech

or

BBi (714) 843-0202
-ask for Betim or Joey

oil change on the CGT is fairly complicated compared to a typical car. i mean, still, anybody that can turn a screwdriver can do it, but the procedure is not obvious at all.

The problem was that we just didnt know with plug to release. And you can hardly blame the shop guys for that, as all plugs are identical and you never know which one is engine oil and which one is gearbox.

Once we found out which plug that was (thanks to Mike on PH) it was a 5 minute job.

Oh, understood, it was underground Russian Porsche shop? Amazing!
How many CGT are in Moscow? Do you have some CGT fan club or something? My friend also bought CGT for Moscow and doesn't know where to drive it in Moscow.

Most shops cannot even get in on their lift. Then the car must be strapped
down to the lift so that it does not fall over backwards. This should not be
done by an independent and should be done by an authorized Porsche shop that
is CERTIFIED, and has a Carrera GT certified mechanic that is to work on it.
I do not know why you would risk this. I do not understand the complexities of Moscow, however. I believe the shop allows at least 6 hours to do it properly.
Good luck

there's a screen filter you have to inspect and clean as well.

I just did it myself without a lift. It took me a full day. The strainer was clean. It only took 8 quarts even though I let it drain a few hours with the oil filter removed. You need the torque multiplier to take off the wheel and be careful of all torques so you don't break the carbon fiber.

There's about 50 screws with different sizes, so you need to mark where they go.
