I don't have the GT2 seats but I don't have any problem seeing over the steering wheel in my Euro seats and I'm not 6' tall.

Porsche doesn't make a bracket that would raise/lower the seats.
OTH, I spoke w/ Brey Krausse and they said they're working on a new bracket and subbelt bar for these seats.

I will need new brakets for my seats, they are an inch to high for me.

I am 5'7", maybe 5'8" on a good day and I have no problem with the carbon fiber non adjustable seats on the GT2.

I would consider that lower sitting position is a plus for driving both on street and track. You want to sit as low as possible.

I am not 6 ft,but i would prefer even lower sitting position than stock GT2 bucket seat.

You don't have to see the hood all the time maybe except parking or driving through really tight space, but you can just sit up straight for a few seconds when you have to.

Lower sitting position would help to raise your vision,so you can actually see further and react faster. If you sit too high, you tend to look down over hood and see shorter distance in front of you.

That is really unsafe!

If you happen to fly aircraft or ride motocycle, you would find out how important the correct vision related to reaction time when travelling at great speed.

Can anyone comment on the width of the sport bucket seat at shoulder level? I just test drove a '09 C4S with manual sport seats and then the adaptive sport seats on a used '08. I found the Adaptives to be more comfortable in the upper shoulder area with all air bladders in full 'open' position. I am 177 lbs and 5'7''. The manual sport seats were a bit tight in upper back area so I was aware of 'them' the whole time I test drove in the manual sport seats car. Does the optional sport buckets have more width/room at shoulder level? Any comparisons or reviews from those that have driven at length all three versions of sport seats currently available from Porsche would be greatly appreciated. z356

I'm 6'2, 225 with wide shoulders. The sports buckets are the most comfortable for me, followed by the standard seats, then the sports seats. The latter two "pinch" my shoulders...the sports seats are unworkable for me. Haven't sat in the adoptives...

I'm 5'6" and have the GT3 Euro one-piece seats (similar to Carrera GT) in my GT3
I did 2 things to improve the height: one, I used the higher mounting point (2 locations on my seats but appears there is not this adjustment on the GT2 seats) and second, I added a 1/2" spacer between the seat rail and the floor. Raises it just enough. I believe there is a thread on Rennlist or Teamspeed where folks did the same thing (and a few photos of the spacer install as well).

Hope this helps
Bill
