GT2 Seats - Height Increase?

I'm thinking of replacing my stock seats w/ the GT2 seats but when I sat on them, they are very low. I'm 5'9" and could barely see over the steering wheel.
Have anyone modify the brackets to increase the height? Aftermarket hardware?

TIA,
Guido

You could try Brey Krause, they make replacement units to lower the seats height, they might make some that can raise it.

I just asked this question in the 997 forum and no one seemed to know either. I was told there was some kind of pivot point in the front with an adjustment of sorts in the back to be able to raise and lower it. SOMEONE must have these seats and not be 6+ft tall.

Exactly my point. I check Brey Krausse website and didn't see any bracket that would raise the seats. I'm going to call them directly and see they say.......

You could also go to a local fabricator and get some custom made.

What do most people do tho who have these seats? I mean, I see them on cars ALL the time, and I don't know that many people who are taller then me (5'10"). Do they find the driving position acceptable as is? I'm really curious now.

Guido, call Suncoast Porsche and talk to them about it. They are very helpful and knowledgable about such things.

I am 5ft 10 and I have recaro pole positions, and I see just fine. You shouldn't have any problem looking out.

Thanks Larry, I spoke w/ Ryan @ Suncoast. Very helpful indeed.

I sat on them and drove a C4S for a little while. They're fine although I'd personally like to seat a tad higher. I'm ordering them as well. BTW, Jon congrats on your new 3......enjoy!
