GT3RS Spoiler

I'm thinking about putting a GT3RS spoiler (aka this one: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...rs-decklid.jpg ) onto a C4S of mine that is soon to arrive.

1) Will it fit without any major redesigns or modifications?

2) What would I have to stick on the front bumper to complement the rear spoiler in terms of down force?

3) How much are we talking about for OEM and where to pick one up? I guess I would need the entire assembly, vs just the blade. Thanks.

Do you remember how much it was going for? I wanted to add one, but not badly enough to spend $10k on one.

It will not fit without modification. Your airbox's intake and the GT3's are different. The underside of the decklid is different. Your best bet is to go with a replica from MA Shaw. He can affix the proper underside to the GT3-style decklid, making the installation plug and play.

Thanks for the reply. Is there any way of using a decklid designed for the C4S (from aero kit or other) and mounting the GT3RS wing onto that? If the MA Shaw is a replica, it must use the same mounting points.

good question. i believe ma shaw made there molds from a 997S (underside) and then made the molds for the RS decklid (top side) and put them together. now you'll have the RS declid look but the underside which supports the 997S intake and fan locations.

if you really wanted an oem application, the only other way is to purchase the oem RS decklid and then bake it. baking it will seperate the botton half from the top half. then you would also have to do that to an oem 997S aero decklid and then glue them back together. but this will be very costly.

your best bet is to go with the MA Shaw kit with the right body shop, these replicas can be prepped/painted to look and fit like OEM.
