That is probably including the old Nordschleife + the current GP circuit. This is the layout they use for the 24 hour race and other races.

I want the new GT3 too, but I'm going to wait until the real new GT3, not the MK2 current version. Great article. Thanks for posting.

pinoyamg is infamous around these parts
Funny, most of the vette bashing are subjectively coming from europeans.... evo guys must hate jeremy clarkson and top gear. Circulation must be hurting. Walter Rohl could'nt get close to mera's time and he was on a gt2. Don't get me wrong, GT3s are great cars and I'm seriously considering the 010 gt3rs myself as the next acquisition but now really.... worse than those cars?

Mero had a closed track. Rohrl set a 7:29 while passing several cars. 3 second difference on different days over a 20.8km track is pretty insignificant.

Other Corvettes have tested favorably in the States, only to fall on some roads in Europe. Another Evo editor tested the ZR1 in the US and gave it a glowing review, 4.5 stars. This particular ZR1 could have been a bad one; Evo will likely do a re-test, as they often give cars a second chance (and more). They loved the Z06, BTW. Drove it at least 4 times, each returning with a favorable review. From a pricing perspective, the ZR1 doesn't play its bang-for-buck card nearly as well in the UK as it does in the US. It's twice as much as the Z06 there, and more than either the GT3 or R8 V10 with ceramics.

That'll be a wait; probably 3 years minimum. I'm sure it'll be a great car though.
