Fixie Wheels - Opinions

So, we have a few set of these That we Just got with a car.

Just wanted to ask who has FIRST HAND experience with these ... not 2nd, or 3rd hand... or word of mouth.

Who has ACTUALLY used them.. And what do you think about quality...etc...

Do you mean Fikse or Fixie?

If you mean Fikse, I love my FM10s and the quality is 2nd to none. They are however a pain to keep clean.

Hmmm.... Fixie-Wheels is a Bike wheel company... as in Bicycles, surely you didn't get a car in with bicycle wheels mounted.

I think there should be a rule that if you demand "first hand experiences" you must have at least seen how its spelled on the wheel itself

All chop busting aside... If you are actually talking about Fikse wheels you will find many happy customers, just do a quick search for them up top and you'll read a number of owner's posts.

On the other hand... if you really DID mean Fixie wheels, I'm baffled.

I have Fikse Profil 13's on my TT and agree completely with 95RogueM3, a very high quality wheel but needs some work to keep them looking perfect.

Which sets did you get?

-5-spoke (likely Profil 5 or FM5)
-Mesh (Profil 10 or FM10)
-Etc

www.fikse.com should allow you to compare yours to pictures.

Regardless of which model, they are a VERY high quality wheel company with lots of track exposure/R&D...

One major difference would be the way in which the center attaches to the barrel. I don't think it makes a structural difference, but the Profil 10 would certainly be my choice for keeping a set clean.

Quality wheel - we have sold a set some time ago to a good friend & saw him often, no issues.

We're a Fikse dealer but don't sell all that many. Great looking wheel. Light as well. Build time isn't what we'd like is the downside....

Good lights wheels. Very long waiting to get them and make sure not to order their black anodized color... they tend to turn purple when you track and heat them...

Here are mine.
