Mk2 GT3 or Mk2 GT3RS

placed my order on a GT3 estimated arrival is in about 2 months. But just 2 days back news on the new RS came out...

im having a tough time deciding on which...as it is i've already been dying to get my hands on the GT3 i missed it...i had the 996 GT3 and bought the 997 turbo abt 2 years ago..cant wait for the GT3 but the question now is should i cancel my GT3 and wait for the RS?!?

What color combo did you build for your GT3?

if price is MSRP to MSRP then i would cancel and get the RS instead. problem is you will have to wait a little longer again.

depends on if u track it a lot or not. if u track it very often then the RS is no doubt the choice. if just track it from time to time and use it more often as a daily driver, i would save the money and stay with the GT3.

i have stopped tracking for about 2 years now actually...but plan to pick it up again..

no issue with daily driving most probably take the bmw and save the 430 and rs for those special days..

i guess the main issue is the waiting time..its KILLING ME!

love the wing and the wider body...Lava Grey and the red combo hmmmmmmm lovely!

Wait for the RS - or you will begin to kick yourself once they come out... unless of course you take the GT3 now and trade it when your RS comes in, but that would surely burn some $.

Seems you are making the right choice. The RS is always going to be a bit more fun to drive and look at and the latest incarnation is clearly differentiated from the standard GT3 unlike the previous generation.

Heck, I still love my RS even though it is about to be replaced... its just plain special!!! you wont regret the wait...

The more I look at the 2 I like the GT3 better.
So what would I really want from the RS? The titanium exhaust. Which I think will be a direct bolt n replacement. The lithium battery? You can add any time.
Truthfully, I just can't get over the disappointing color choices. Cheap and boring.....

The trick is, if you want an RS, being able to secure an allocation.
