SharkWerks Bypass pipe installed
Dave: I have been following with interest your posts over the past few months in our Forum and I have seen you 'progress' from a new '09 C4S (Launch Edition with sport bucket seats), the '09 blue Turbo and now the '10 gt3. Can you give us a more detailed review of how you have found the drive characteristics in each of these cars? Is there anything about your new gt3 that you don't like? How do you find the seats on this vehicle since you didn't care for the sport buckets in the c4s? How is the front clearance on the gt3- in retrospect should you have waited for the lift option coming into production shortly? I am in the process of deciding on a gt3 acquisition and would appreciate your frank & honest input. Thanks. z356
Nice install, it really sounds tough. Now that is what a cruse/sport button SHOULD do when you push it.
Could you go further and add a set of headers w/ high flow cats to complete the package (no CEL thank you) but still keep the OEM quite/sport exhaust system intact?

If you look at our car we managed to build the motor to achieve over 500hp and yet still utilizing the factory headers/cats. The factory GT3 headers are the same as the ones on the cup cars and VERY VERY good indeed.

Alex you crack me up with your videos
Tarantino may be calling you soon to do a Jaws/Motortrend movie!
BTW test drove a 07 GT3 yesterday and love the engine/handling. Dont get me wrong, I love my modified turbo, but the GT3 is so much more like a race car. I need to come by and ride/see yours, maybe test drive

Tell you what.... it's been so long if you do come by let's upgrade the software on your car to the EVOMSit (for free obviously) and while that's going on we can go for a ride in this little green thing:https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...e-upgrade.html
As much of a turbo fiend as I am I truly love these GT3s. The feel/suspension etc... it's so "on".
Glad you like the videos. I'm not so sure I mean we're pretty weird

Let me know when and while we're updating the software we'll go for a ride:P No depends needed, she's NA
Hi Troy glad you like it and on the NA/GT3 the motor is seriously tuned for the backpressure of the header/cat pieces (integrated) and so if you don't mind a) loosing some low-end grunt b) getting CEL's and cats that disintegrate c) gets way loud that way with a lot of resonance

Thanks for the good info on the torque situation. If the stock stuff works good, than so be it.
My pleasure and for the GT3... Porsche didn't mess around with the headers:P
