SharkWerks Bypass pipe installed

Here are a few pics and a short video from the install by Steve @Chambers Porsche in Boston. There is no drone at all and when you get on the gas in Sports mode, the Sound is just fantastic, should have came this way from the factory. Thanks to Alex @SharkWerks for a great product !

GT3 looks clean... How is the sound compared to stock when rolling through a parking lot or garage in first or second gear? Do you have to get the RPM's up to get a nice tone or is it much louder coming right out of 1st?

Do you have any non garage videos or driving clips?

SharkWerks has a detailed video on this forum if you want to see/hear it on the road.

It's a little louder in regular mode and Sports mode under light load but once you get on the gas and especially when the revs are above 3 - 4k, its nice and loud. Its quiet when you want it to be and loud when you want to play, perfect.

Hey Dave, seriously thanks so much for the support (we've been through a few cars together eh?!) and even more glad you like it:P I've been daily driving between the RS and the 2010 GT3 both with the exhaust on:P We _really_ wanted to make sure there was no drone seeing as there's a real lack of sound deadening in the GT3 cars Enjoy and make it a keeper

Congrats on the bypass install. For me, the cars just are just so much more enjoyable with that great sound.

Quick question - I assume your Boston Porsche dealer installed the bypass without mentioning any concerns about "aftermarket" exhaust equipment?

The sound is just pure sport all the way. Did you ever post anything in this regard on the TT side? I wonder how this system sounds?
Good job there Alex.

I am really considering a 997 GT3 if i can find me a new or very low miles (under 5k) to buy. I already have a set of mods I want on it.

Thanks KA997TT... you'd dig the suspension too:P Different feel etc... It's hard to make the TT sound this way because of those two hair dryers
