Carrera GT Type 2 over revs
Carrera GT Type 2 over revs
Im looking at a CGT and asked about any over revs. This is what they said about a downshift:
Car has done a total of 57 revolutions over 9k rpm’s…time equals 1.2 seconds.
1.2 seconds in an over reved downshift seems a little scary, but only 57 revs doesnt.
Anything I should worry about?

That math does not seem to add up. At 9000 rpms that is 150 revolutions per second. 57 revolutions would total about 0.38 seconds. So probably not a big deal. On the other hand what does a CGT motor rebuilt cost
That's hysterical. I guess the old axiom is true. If I have to ask, I can't afford it
It's the only other supercar that I truly lust for. I now understand why I'll never have it.
