Calling all SoCal 6-Speeders!

Just a reminder to all 6-speeders, OCRacecraft is holding another track event at El Toro (in Irvine) this coming weekend! I want to see all of you there. Last time there was only 3 GT3/RS' and too many BMWs/Ferraris and AMGs. We need to represent and prove that P-cars are the best! Plus, it would be fun to meet some local guys and support what OCRacecraft is doing. It's so nice to not have to drive to Willow! And the layout is very technical, great for testing and progressing your driving skills. Check it out at www.ocracecraft.com. FYI, I am not affiliated with them at all. Just trying to spread the word so they can continue to do these events! Cheers - Laguna_Dude

Is this open to all porsche models? Are helmets provided?

I've never been to a track event, but would be interested in attending since i'm right around the corner

Totally, however, I don't think they allow civics... haha. You will have to do the driving school. It's actually a solid program. I did it and you have to do it in order to be able to just do lapping sessions in future events. They have helmets, but I would suggests getting your own. trust me, you walk away a better driver. I would call or email them for details. Also, they have pretty much every top race driver in SoCal as instructors (see the list on the site... Patrick Long.. solid). And it is the most safety-minded event, I've ever been to. Hopefully, I'll see you there.

Not really, when you consider:
1.) Gas savings from having to not drive 3 hrs to Willow.
2.) Gourmet catered breakfast and lunch with unlimited sports drinks and water through out day.
3.) At any time, can have a pro-driver ride along and coach you (I mean real pros who's careers are racing, not best guys in the club that can only drive fast at Willow).
4.) Limited # of cars and more on-track time than you would want.
5.) A track that is very technical and safe and that is literally a 15 minute drive away.

And if you attend one event, they give you a discount if you early sign-up for the next event.

Every track event I have ever done was $300 to $600 per day and this event is by far the best value, most fun and highest caliber. Just look at who's involved.
