Wildschweine cup team
The Wildschweine Cup Team has officially been launched! It is just 4 friends who are having a great time driving Porsche cars without taking it too seriously...
So we bought a 997 Cup car each (2009 is a very rare opportunity to get access to a new one since few were left in Germany) and we will get use to the cars next spring.
We really hope to graduate from lapping buddies to Club Race "weekend warriors" ! In the meantime, we can't wait for the long winter we will get here up north to go away...

Looks like a ton of fun. Congrats to you guys for making the dream happen. Post here and keep us updated "eh"?
PS- Myself, and I think a lot of others would be interested to see what kind of annual budget is involved with something like this. I assume you four split the costs? And the driving? You have done a pro-forma amongst yourselves? Not trying to get personal and certainly not meant to be insensitive but it would be really interesting to see how one group worked it out.
Might be something I would be interested in locally...
Share what you feel comfortable with and I respect your decision if not.
Cheers!

For the Cup Cars, we don't split the costs and the driving since we don't share a car, we bought 4 cars

We didn't make a pro forma since we wouldn't have made the plunge probably if we did

We just have a good deal on tires and on the wraps for the cars. We are told that the maintenance cost is not as high as you may expect... hopefully this is right !
Enjoyed the pics on your website... enjoy yourselves you CRaZie Canadians!!!

Congrats to team Wildschweine lol since the winter weather will be so bad up north, maybe you guys should take a trip out to SoCal and have the four of you spend some time at a couple of different tracks out here where it's perfect track weather most of the time.
