Best Sounding GT3 Bypass Exhaust

What is everyone's opinion on the best sounding GT3 bypass exhaust?

1) The new RSS GT3 Xpipe Exhaust
2) Shark Werks Center Bypass Exhaust
3) GMG WC Sport Center Section Exhaust

All three are about the same price range and bypass the center (3rd) muffler. I'm looking for an exhaust that will unleash the beast of the GT3.

Build quality seems top notch on all the units, but I think the price is way over inflated for stainless / TIG.

Guys, I just had the RSS unit installed yesterday with the EVOMSit software. I have only soundclips to compare it to but it sounds simply amazing. Unfortunately, the weather has been terrible so I havent been able to really let loose yet.

I will be doing a full writeup of the RSS piece and experience with RSS by Monday or Tuesday. hold tight!

p.s. if there are 2 other guys in LA or OC that have the Sharkwerks and GMG and want to get together for a direct comparison between the 3, let me know.....

can someone list the prices for the 3?

one vendor says there are no gains to be made by switching the headers, cats and primary mufflers in the by-pass section but then lists a full exhaust system for sale

Glock, I'm with you....As much as I love and respect the tuners mentioned above, I agree that $2K for these is simply insane. I hate that everyone feels the need to mark up porche parts. Just because I own an expensive car doesn't mean I should pay double for every part. Sure the volume is low, but R&D on these parts its pretty low too, as is parts and labor. I'd be shocked if any cost more than $500-600 to make in stainless. Add fair markup and I can't figure out how you get to $2k, other than it sounded like a good place to start and people are paying it. They don't even have mufflers or cats on them? WTF? I've bought full cat-backs of equal quality for sedans for less than $2k....with a whole lot more material and design in them.

Anyhow, not being able to stomach buying one out of priciple, I have a buddy who is a very talented fabricator for pro rally cars making me one as we speak. I think he'll be done in a week or two, maybe a little longer with the holidays. It should be half the price or less. I'll keep you posted.

Avi8tir: I'm in LA, so lets hook up and compare sometime as suggested.

We are used both the Sharky bypass and the RSS system and they are both great solutions. We will be posting photos from a recent install later on today.

These are the questions I'm asking too. Fabspeed says they got 7 HP LOSS with bypass and have a muffler replacement. Anybody know anything about this one?

I just had the Sharkwerks bypass installed last Thursday. When I get a moment, I'll write up a more detailed review w/ clips. I thought the bypass would be a subtle enhancement, but it truly does unleash the beast as you say. Sharky described it as an "exotic" sound -- too true! Love it, love it, love it.

i was quoted 1450 even though the website says 2k.

apparently, 2 k is MSRP and not final selling price

I currently have a GT3 and put an FVD set up on the car. I constantly got O2 alarms. I sent my ECU to them to "remove the code" and the warning light still came on. Finally I took all the stuff off. I was burning out O2 sensors every 100 miles!

I would love to add a bypass to my RS when it comes in? Any warning light issues?

I've been running the Sharkwerks bypass for more than a year now and nothing but joy at how good it sounds. No lights or nothing with the bypass so you'll be good there.
