Another Sepang track day...
I have major mosquito phobic whenever I have to go to Thunderhill. I thought I was crazy when you said you did not get bit ... Edwin and I looked at each other and thought either mosquito at TH only like Chinese food or you did not take a shower lol
Wow, great deal. We pay on average $180 - $250 here depends on the the track and club.
That was a nice RSR video at Sepang. He was in 6th gear on the straight - must be going about 160 mph+ .... pretty insane
I had to educate myself on Singapore and Malaysia geography. Looks like all you need to do is cross the Laluan Kedua Malaysia-Singapura bridge then you are there

Yeah the RSR is driven by a top Carrera Cup driver in Asia. For us mere mortals, we usually hit around 140mph down both the front and back straights only....

Yeah mate, thats an RSR.
I have sat only in my mates Cup Car before but the rawness is also utterly amazing!!! Total addiction when you hear and feel EVERYTHING!!! And seeing the plexiglass windows peel away from the roof line when going down the straghts.... crazy mate....

Its about 380km from Singapore to Sepang.... the bridge is the start, and its 2 and 3 lane expressway all the way from there.... running around 170mph a large percentage of the way up there if no traffic.... and if we get stopped by cops its only MYR50 to carry on....

Yes, these race car driver have titanium amygdala (fear center of our brain) and nothing phases them. It takes me a long time to get use to speed and I don't take it lightly for a good reason.
Sometimes I wonder why travel so far for 2.5 hours to get 3 hours of track time and then drive back for another 2.5 hours...
One might think it's irrational but the true motivation of it is that it's a world class circuit, cheap and not to mention the fun out there with friends...and oh, the party in KL

Haha, I used to live in Singapore when I was a kid. We screwed the pooch on the bridge and didn't get our passports stamped. Trying to leave the country got us in some serious ****, ended up in a back room in Malaysian Customs, with some seriously sketchy folks.
Little did we know all we had to do was pay them off, Oblivious white folk, haha.
Had a friend get caught doing 175MPH got pulled over and as he stated, 50 rupee's usually does the trick.
