Decent price on GT3 rollcage installed?

Why do you need a roll cage? Not really safe in a street car. Besides the roll cage is in the rear -and you sit in the front...??? Never understood this... Get a harness bar for a couple hundred bucks and some Schroths harness and you're all set
And then again, for a couple of track days a year why not just use the OEM seat belts? And yes, $2k installed (including roll bar) is all I would pay...anywhere.
PS: I have the *** seats and have almost 40 t-days on my '11 GT3. Has worked just fine for me... But then I guess, those shops need to make some money putting in those roll cages etc. Helps the economy -and my stock portfolio..
