I had to make the same decision last year and went with the 2010 GT3. I don't think you can go wrong either way but with the couple of year old RS price nearly the new GT3 price, I went with the GT3.

Future value? God only knows. But I know that 993's are pricey. If that's the only concern, I'd keep the 993. What's a 993 worth that looks like a 997? Now I'm totally lost....

I wish I still had my 1995 993

I do know that the sport buckets are the bomb. Wifey hates them because of the lack of back adjustment but I wouldn't do without them. I have other ways of keeping wife happy.
