There is no better way of indicating that you are not here to play games 
This example is from the Porsche Tecquipment option list and is painted in RS orange.
Must confess that i am actually not sure exactly how much weight this adds or if this adds any additional stiffness to the chassis (any info regarding this would be appreciated), but i have to give it my thumbs up for the visual effect alone!

I'm loving that look: TOUGH! Chassis reigidity is important to trak racers .. but there's nothing wrong with wanting a certain look. The politically correct can .. well .. they know!
