I would like to see how the carpet is cut.

Also is there any noises like creaking and pinging from the bar?

Thanks guys, we will be posting detailed images of the install including how we notch the carpet, how it bolts into the floor/under plates and the seamless look and fit, etc., very soon - just finishing up some other builds and we will document the next install for everyone. Akshon - you may experience some subtle creaking from any rollbar/cage but with this one we experienced NO creaking/pinging during our test drives... Appreciate all the calls and emails regarding our new bars and cages. More to come...

I concur. I drove the sh*t out the car this weekend and experienced ZERO creaking of any kind.

Hi Brim, Yes - we will be stocking the 4PT and the 6PT for 2010, we have sold the 4PT units in stock and are completing more as I type. I do have 1 6PT cage in stock at this time. If you need a 4PT, I can have it completed for you very quickly, PM coming shortly......thanks. Bryan

Hi Tim, you can squeeze back there fairly easily to clean the rear window if desired or have someone 'smaller' handle it for you.

Personally, I send my woman in a few times a year to clean the rear window since she is petite....

I have also used a microfiber cloth attached to a 'swiffer' to reach the rear window through the rollbar which works quite well too...

Sure. My girl doesn't mind it at all - she laughs.
She is a "car girl" so she enjoys my chauvinist ways.....

A few more shots of the 4 PT. rollbar install....

Here are a few images detailing how the RSS 4 PT. Competition Rollbar installs to the floor with supplied underplates and to the rear shock towers, the carpet is notched slightly for a seamless finished look:

Holes drilled, floor plates installed before carpet is slightly notched and put back in place:

Supplied plates for underneath car:

How it looks mounted to rear shock towers before carpet is notched and put back in place...

Carpet back in place, seamless look...

hi Bryan,
Very nice install/roll bar!
what year GT3 is pictured?
and, did you drill the floor holes, or were they pre-drilled from the Factory?
thanks!

Im thinking of going with a 6 point one. Any pics of a 6-pt installed? And not that it really matters, but can you post the weight of the 4-pt and 6-pt? Thanks.

Thanks GTEE3,

Appreciate the comments.
As posted on the 1st page, this is on a White 2010 GT3.
Yes, we drill 3 holes on each side of the floor pan so the hardware can mate up with the supplied underplates.
Thanks again.

Hi JMD0977,

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated.

We are finishing powder coating a 6 PT. RSS rollcage that is going in a black 2010 GT3 shortly, as soon as we get it installed, I will document the install and post additional pics.

The 4 PT. RSS Rollbar weighs in at 37 lbs., the 6 PT. RSS Rollcage with front extensions weighs in around 65 lbs.
