sandman72 is infamous around these parts
Beautiful wheels, love the silver with the ghost decal (black finished wheels would look better with the black decal IMHO), would have been cool to do a fade out of the decal from bottom to top as well.

I guess I’m too much old-school, I prefer Kermit’s original look with the black HRE’s and black decals! This is coming from someone who loves driving Kermit more then my own 3.9!! To me it’s like someone putting A-1 sauce on a rare Rib-eye steak!!! Why bother??

Alex,

Are those the lightest wheels in the Champion Range? How much weight will the powder coating add as I would end up spraying them either black or black with an orange pinstripe....

hey harold they're certainly up there in terms of being light. I believe the RS98 is half a pound lighter:P Not exactly sure how much the paint would add but it really wouldn't be very much

Alex, thanks for the feedback. My bonus is in and am now finally doing my serious shopping for a second set of rims for my RS.

Does anyone know how these wheels compare with the Forged Alloys Tech 110s in terms of weight and durability/balance etc?

http://www.amtforgedalloys.com/PORSCHE/porsche.html

Unfortunately when I look at the Cargraphics website for weights of (say) the RG5, the offsets etc are different from those being shown on the Forged Alloys website and hence not sure what the real deal is on weights.

If the 98's are the lightest, I will probably head down that route....

WOW!!!

Question for Sharkey or RSS. Is there a way to mount the Sport Bucket seats on the same track as the manual seats? I need the Sport Buckets to sit lower like the manual seats and my wife needs the driver seat to be able to be lifted up like the manual seat.

On the Sport Bucket Seat mount these seats sit way higher than the stock manual seats plus they do not go far enought back.

THANKS!

Hey Harold, those are the lightest I'm sure (RS98). Drop me an Email later on and I'll see what more I can find out... at least with the RS98's you can get them in 12s too.

Hehe LIMEY is the plate I need now eh? You could probably either a) fabricate or b) modify the existing side brackets. I think bkauto also used to sell a lowering one for the 996gt3 buckets too?

mdrums,

We have a few seat kits currently and I may have just what your looking for. I'll take a look with one of my engineers at our 2010 GT3 w/ sport buckets on Monday and get back to you with some options. If you want, give me a call on Monday and we can go over exactly what you desire and make it happen. Have a good weekend. –Bryan
