The wheels look better on the black one, it sticks out more. I always like the contrast between the body color and the wheels

It looked understated on the white...

 

Looks like a lot of balancing weights were added, is that the best that the person mounting the mounter could do? Is this a problem with the wheels, or the tire?

I think what you are seeing is foil tape over the weights. It holds them in place when the wheels get too hot and the weights start falling off.

The wheels were run on the track when we tested the new Pirelli Trofeo tires.

The tape is placed over the wheel weight to keep it from flying off the wheel at speed.

Stick on wheel weights unfortunately do not stick very well and aren't designed for motorsport purposes.

 

i must say these are some of the best looking wheels for the 3....you guys did a great job with these.

 

I wonder how a set in gold would look on a white RS.
