BTW........If you are interested.

What I added on mine. Went to Lowes and picked up some 4'x8'x.75" pink styrofoam insulation. Two of them. Trimmed to 36" wide (and I'm guessing yours is like mine with a 36" gap between the ramps and a lip along the edge).

I have them cut equal in length, and, also picked up this "drop cloth" plastic liner that is only about 4" wide but the total length of the ramps. I just place that above the styrofoam panels, and there is just about no way anything can hit below. (I also have the three plastic drop trays they give you up there). Looks not-too-bad either.

Yes ... two post is much better for service but extra storage means excuse to get a 2010 RS

Hunter Stuff is way expensive; maybe you should pitch a slightly cheaper brand and just remember to duck when the shoe starts flying at you. I always like the idea of a having an open front 4 post. Seems like the best of both worlds except I wouldn’t need the slip plates in my garage.

The question is which one should I get? I have a 4+ car garage with an extension at one end which will be the space for the lift as shown below. This space measured 14' wide and 9' tall. I thought 9' was a pretty tall finished ceiling but most two post lift I seen are taller than 9' and use 220V. I am looking for a 120V two post lift that are less than 9' tall. Any suggestions? I will clean up all my crap and move it into mooty's garage before install lol

Maxjax is interesting but I want something beefier that can do this
2 post lifts are much easier to use for general service since there are no runways and jacks to contend with. 4 post lifts are better for storage because the weight they can accommodate is distributed on four columns.
