Dont have PCM 3.0 but want IPOD in my car!

Is there a solution?

1st called Porsche...said if i dont have PCM 3.0 its not possible from them..although they did say PCM 3.0 will be available at some point probably.

Al n Eds said they have a product but its has a terrible interface, bad to use...hard to find songs ect...only good for playlists. sucks!
Other option they had is to replace the whole system around 1500 plus install and has a new screen with nav and ipod ect.

Any input? would the last option hurt resale?

 

dennison or navtv should work. my dennison works fine, most of the time

 

I have the universal audio plug (porsche factory option) Was $95 since I don't have PCM. It would have been $700 option if I had PCM. I just have to used the Ipod to select songs Vs PCM interface screen, if I had it. Glad I don't. I saved $4000

 

There is another option. Have it in my Cayenne. Kinda like Dennison. Damn - forgot the name. Give me a second.

I also have my Sirius radio routed through it as well.
