Received an invitation to go to Germany and help work on and watch my GT2 RS be built. Has anyone done this, and do you think this is something that might be fun to do? Sure seems like the opportunity of a lifetime.

When do you leave??

 

This is preliminary. It will be built about Sept/Oct my guess. It has never been done before, and I've been complaining to them that all the cars they make for me are built in the dead of winter, so I can't come get Euro delivery and track then on the test track.

 

If you even pause for a moment on this one then you are crazy...

That having been said when are you leaving?

 

I say do it man. Have you been to Stuttgart??? Factory/Museum/Porsches on every corner (seriously).....go!!

 

Build is either late September or early October. And that is a guess. Won't firm up until we place orders and scheduling occurs. Might not know for a couple months. Never been to Germany or anything. WANT to go.

 

+1 the Stuttgart/Porsche experience is awesome and should be done at least once.
