Reno Fernley Open For One Day! Test n Tune May 29

Wow. Reno Fernley has been closed since last fall due to financial issues. They have since worked on the track, paved and smoothed/fixed some areas. And just announced an open track day next Saturday!

From SCCA announcement:

"Reno-Fernley Raceway will hold its first Test'n'Tune open practice day of the year on Saturday, May 29th. You must be an experienced, credentialed driver to participate. For information, contact Danny at the track, 775-771-7841."

I would urge you to grab this opportunity to run a very fun track and support their efforts to open the track on a limited basis.

Even though I will be coming off two days at TH before and 2 days at LS coming up I will be there to enjoy and support. Would be great to meet other local trackers there as well!

I have no details other than above. Last years T'nT was very reasonably priced.

I'm supposed to work, but maybe I can swing it.... I'd love to see the GT3RS.

I might have the Spyder there instead of the RS as not sure which one will have good tire and brakes

Just clarified with Danny at the track:

Gate open 7 AM, track live at 9AM, $225 all day for cars, $150 motorcycles. 30 minutes bikes/30 minutes cars.

Credentials include having run Reno-Fernley solo 3-4 times in the past. Or solo experience on other road tracks.

Weather looks perfect: http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...2=-119.251&e=0

If you want tracks to stay open, you have to support them with $.
