Took a little trip over the mountains this past weekend in my '10 GT3. We were expecting a little rain to sart things out on Saturday but then Sunday was supposed to be mostly sunny. Of course seeing as this is the NW, we instead had the reality that Winter was not very far removed.

It's always a little scary in Pilot Cups in the rain, but snow adds a whole new level of nervousness! It actually wasn't too bad though and did make for some nice pictures.

Peter and I switched cars for about 60 miles and I got to drive his highly modified '07 GT3 RS with an ear-splittingly loud Akrapovic exhaust system. No kidding, you really need ear plugs in this thing when you were on the gas and my girlfriend Stephanie did not enjoy the experience nearly as much as I did.

The weather was too crappy for a hard core comparison of the two cars but Peter felt the newer model was supeior in handling and overall feel to his RS. Power was about equal.

At any rate, there were no mishaps and I arrived back safely. The weather forecasters in our area suck! Brad

Power is the same .... but better handling. Wonder why?

 

Very nice, hopefully we'll get some warm weather soon. Both look great in white.

 

Love the NW. As soon as people see that it might be a nice day, out come the short pants. So what if its 30, the sun might be out?

 

My ears are still ringing though I enjoyed the drive (should I say low level flight) tremendously. Brad you are a great "wingman"!
