GT3 depreciation rate

Is it just me, or does the GT3, after the initial first year dropoff, really hold its value better than the TT, GT2, or any of the C2's or C4's? It seems that once they get to around 90k they slow down in depreciation and even those several years older are perhaps 10% lower.

Nope, you're right. The best resale Pcar currently in production in the GT3 - by a mile. That's because it is the best Pcar currently in production for the money (IMO, the only Pcar which is worth every penny of it's sticker). The car really is a steal.

GT3 takes the least hit of all the P-cars.

best value for sure, plus the # built will help. unless of course Porsche decides to ship more for 06....unlikely but wouldnt suprise me... they didnt post a 1 billion euro profit in 04 worrying about the customer resale value...

996 Ends in MY05 period.

PS. most of the so called 1 billion dollar euro profit is just clever currency hedging. its due to run out in 07.

i dunno ............expenses and profit margin in 98-04 , the bottom line is ..... its about the dollars.... the heritage is long from the mind of PCAR management......... since the early 80's(actually, mid 70's but don't get me started) with the 959 have we had a technology marvel..until the cgt....which will be short lived when a 70K corvette can be close enough in performance to encourage most people to save the $370K........ Every company will bowed the crowd eventually..... it's business.

maybe I am wrong...but ....cayenne....next year a 4dr coupe....????????????????? I dunno....I didnt make this up.

I love the Porsche heritage ansd grew up on it but nothing last forever.

Lets face it guys Porsche is not about the customer anymore it is about $$$ and that is fine however it should not always come at the expense of the prior buyer

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...threadid=17091

I called it then and I will continue now as well how about eh renlist thread w/over 40,000 views on Porsche CS.
