Great shots at a wonderful track. Barber is one of my favorite facilities, and the grounds are second to none. The track rewards a well sorted car, and uber-hi hp is not needed. I only wish the straights were a little longer to let our cars stretch their legs a bit more. The track surface is flawless and the elevation change is breathtaking. I instruct for PCA so hopefully we'll run into each other in the future.

Glad you are using your car as it's intended!

We are blessed in the South East region, as there are several world class venues for track days and road racing. My personal favorite is Virginia International Raceway which is in Danvillle, VA. It's just over the border from NC into VA. Road Atlanta, of course is another favorite of mine and happens to be a short 1 hr drive from our shop. A 7 hr drive south is Sebring. All of these tracks are super popular with track day organizers, PCA, BMWCCA..etc..etc.

On average, Forged Performance attends about 1 track event each month. If you are interested, I can post up our schedule.

Here are the next few events we'll be at. I also instruct at most of these events as well, but I think I've already been reserved. Either way, those of you coming in and MORE than welcome to pit in our area. We usually have some nice beverages, music, shade, and an experienced technician on hand for minor repairs/adjustments no charge. I also can help you all with setup and driving tips and such.

Virginia International Raceway: July 23 NASA Mid Atlanta (we are competing in the Ultimate Track Car Challenge which is really exciting)

Road Atlanta with Chin Motorsports: July 24-25

Road Atlanta with Nasa South East Aug 7-8

Sebring with Redline Time Attack Aug 14-15th

Chin is a great organization. Always plenty of track/seat time.
btw Sebring in August is brutal. Brakes, brakes, brakes.

+1. Chin is a class act and runs one of the best track day programs. Aug in Sebring is going to be balmy to say the least.

Nice to see you on here Sharif. I can't wait to see the new addition.

To the 6speed community, Forged is a great shop and Sharif is one of the smartest and nicest guys you'll ever meet. A great addition to the P car community.

I ran Barber a couple months ago. Beautiful track. Very technical with lots of opportunities to do things wrong It's a little on the short side compared to Sebring though. Sebring and Barber were fun, but I think it was more of a thrill running Daytona.

Sorry if I missed it in a previous post, but which school are you referring to?
