How is that track? We want to do it too someday.
Great facility and awesome track. The vintage motorcycle museum alone is worth the trip.
I was there last November with a PBOC event. First time I drove out on the track I had never been on it and had only seen a track map. No orientation lap, no instructor, I was lost. The track seemed to be 10 miles long that first lap. Lots of elevation changes and blind apexes. A fabulous track for a NA Porsche. Big thumbs up!

I participated in the inaugural PCA club race there in the summer of 2004. I did a DE there a couple of months prior to that, but for many (majority?) of the racers, it was there first time there - the track was fairly new at the time.
So there was a big record for the number of 13/13 incidents that weekend (bent metal), and there was a huge issue with damage to the track. It was insane to see all of the cars hauled off on flatbeds! There were something like 18-22 incidents, I can't remember.
At any rate, I spun a few times but didn't wreck at all. It was a great weekend and a great facility. I haven't been back in years (just doing Road Atlanta lately), but I'm looking fwd to getting back at some point.
Nice pictures - thanks far taking me back in time...
