I remember Thunderhill very distinctly from over a decade ago since my last visit. It's a wonderful track.

T5 bypass is off camber with a sharp right turn. It's hard to correct tail spin w/o creating more problem. I try to ease out of the spin but gave up at the end and just brake and clutch. I would have try harder to save the spin if my name is Ken Block. Did not freeze up but more like WTF

Yeah, luckly Brad was at the wheel behind me in his 6 GT3. Anyone else would have either spun with me or end up smashing into each other

No idea and he was not in the advance group with all the GT3

Yup, it was e-brake. It was my first lap out when I almost spun at T1 after hitting coolant - ease all the way back to paddock so brakes are cool. e-brake on so I can keep engine running to check for possible coolant leak

^ it's ~2.5mi from where mike noted coolant smell (T1) to exit pit lane. i'm sure mike coasted and gave the brakes enough time to cooloff.

You have no cars. I see you bike to work and grocery store. You spend you time teaching boy scout how to tie knots and helping old lady cross street

Anyone up for ButtonWillow on July 30th with CityTechSF? I'm in with my Z. The organizers notified us the current turn out is small, so they are extending the discounted price of $150.

The last time these guys were at TH, Enrique (996TT) was there, and he and one other GT3 cup were the only 911s out there. Would be great to see more P-cars! esp you folks!

More info and sign up below:
