Gt3RS street racing with bad outcome
bbywu, thanks for the extended information.
Regardless of what actually happened, I would leave a leave him a rainbow on his windshield wiper if I ever saw that car again. What a tool...
Fantasma, if it were a secluded road in the desert then I would agree with you. Otherwise, look at the people in the photos who were in their houses and came outside whenever they heard a series of "bangs"... street racing, destruction of property and endangering the lives of others and I'd throw a wreckless driving ticket at him as well.

Considering all the damage to the RS and the minimal damage to the Merc
I would say that there is a lot more to it then what the story tell here.
The RS must have hit or been hit by something else also. It is not the first time
someone is trying to make a big deal out of a possible simple accident.

ok just read the rest of the thread and if he was racing there then he is an ***, but looking at the pics i cant see what kind of race you can have in a place like that plus the pics dont look like he was going all that fast, on a side note whats wrong with trying to leave before the cops come to avoid going to jail, those of us here who are honest will admit we have all raced our cars and if there was an accident that no one got hurt i dont thing anyone would sit around and wait to go to jail
Look at how long the skid marks are. The speed limit is probably 25 in that residential area. He had to be going fairly fast to have 40ft+ long skid marks.
no way?
All kidding aside, I think everyone on this forum has gone fast and most likely enjoyed a little stomp on the gas when another car is tempting you, but this is in a neighborhood street ...that mat be a little dumb.
now find me on an open empty road here in Utah and it's game on

Why would an accident need the police? The parties can handle it amongst themselves, its not like the police is going to do anything to help, its up to the insurance companies.
The insurance company is going to need details to begin with before they cover it, so they will find out about the parked CLK he hit.

One, because its the law to report accidents over a small theshold. Secondly, to determine fault and lay charges where required. There are many situations where two individuals in the same accident have completely versions of what took place. Police are there to determine fault. I wouldn't be surprised if the Porsche driver says he was cut off which caused him to loose control of his car which was traveling the speed limit

Looking at this accident, the driver should be charged with street racing and face the full consequences of the law. Going 60 to 80 MPH on a residential street with kids playing in the area is insane. The parked Benz may have stopped the Porsche from climbing the curb and wiping out some innocent people.
I have a different hypothesis. Mr./Ms. White GT3RS noticed a small pool of oil on his/her garage floor that morning, determined that it was the dreaded RMS leak issue and, upon reading in magazines and forums that GT3’s need to be driven aggressively in order for the seal to function properly, took said GT3RS out for a spirited run that morning resulting in apparent damage to his/her vehicle.
Your're Doing it Wrong: Venice, CA GT3RS Edition
"From what witnesses say, Ed M., aka “Mr. White GT3RS” was allegedly racing a black Ferrari. The Ferrari driver allegedly realized that Market Street dead ends and hit the brakes. “Mr. White GT3RS” swerved to miss him and hit a Mercedes then spun around and hit a black car. One woman was almost run over."
“Mr. White GT3RS allegedly paid a tow truck driver in cash to haul the car away before the LAPD came. The LAPD was called around 7 pm and showed up at 8:30. They have the plate number."
