Gt3RS street racing with bad outcome
Love all the holier than thou comments that have obviously never done anything stupid on the street.
I am not condoning the actions of this individual especially in that environment but I would bet anyone of you that is associated with this forum obviously has a passion for fast cars and I am sure you can look in the mirror and go yep I have done some stupid things in a car that I probably got away with whether you were 22 or 82 not to mention I think the karma thing might have caught up with him on this one just look at his car I know I would be in tears if I did that to mine.

... raced a car in a suburb.
... damaged property then fled.
... fled the scene of a crime.
... crashed a $150K sports car while street racing.

I agree 100% with above. Thank you for the clarity. I have never street raced in a neighborhood. Or anywhere else for that matter. If you think you have skills, then take it to a track.
++ to all of the above. (In fact, hard to believe some forums even "allow" these "kill" sections like over on Bimmerforums...... which are nothing more than the same as above, but typically with more traffic around).
Whoa, don't know how i missed this thread. I ACTUALLY USED TO LIVE ON THAT STREET!!! Let me tell you, it's about a block away from the beach and the world famous Venice Beach Boardwalk, home of the derelict and crazy street performers lol But seriously because of it's proximity to the beach and free parking without requiring a permit, people are constantly walking around and driving around there. On a weekend, there's people walking, riding their bikes and skateboarding in the middle of the street as if it were a sidewalk. Even during the week it's a super high traffic area. The street is quite wide, but honestly, I've never been able to go any faster than 25mph on that street (not that I'd want or need to go any faster there) simply because of the fact that you usually can't and usually are going more like 10mph! This guy is seriously lucky he didn't kill someone, knowing that street so well, there's ALWAYS kids around and people walking their dogs because there's a dog park 2 blocks away on Main and Westminister. I'm as guilty as the next guy having indulged in a bit of spirited driving on occasion, but this trumps naivety and is outright negligence. One last thing, I have no clue how it took LAPD an hour and a half to get there because they've got a satellite station about 3 blocks away, not even kidding about that!
Haha I took these photos. Like the poster above said this street is like 2 blocks long. It's amazing someone thought they could actually street race down it. He's very lucky someone didn't get hurt.
Hey Scott. Where did you live off market? I'm at 245 market street

and the days I didn't eat at Mao's, I'd probably be at C & O. I still go to C & O occasionally but i don't get to Mao's nearly enough anymore.

Comments like this are stupid. So you'd add "assault" to the list of charges a judge would have to figure out?
Internet makes everybody such a tough guy!!
