GT3 / C2S Ride Question

How much stiffer is the GT3 ride vs the C2S ride? (both 997.2 versions)

Car would be for weekend use and occasional DE's etc.

Any other input appreciated.

Thanks, Jon

it is stiffer, but its doesn't feel as bumpy as the c2s in sport mode

If it is only for weekend use and DE's you will be fine. Biggest change from my c2s to my 3 was how stiff the gear box is.

You'll definitely be fine for your purposes, the GT2/3 are surprisingly comfortable. Definitely better than the C2 or C4 in PASM sport.

I have a 997.2 GT3 and had a 997.1 C2S. The 997.2 GT3 Normal PASM mode is somewhere between the Normal and Sport PASM modes in my 997.1 C2S.

If I cruise my 997.2 GT3 on freeway with the Sport button Off (PASM Normal), I sometimes thought I was still driving in my 997.1 C2S.

I was in the dealer talking with the tech, he said one of the impressive things Porsche did to the 997.2 GT3 was to make its ride much more comfortable without sacrifcing the suspension handling.

In combination with the Front Axle Lifting System, I actually could drive my 997.2 GT3 to more places (e.g. deep driveways gas stations or garages) than with my 997.1 C2S (which would occasionally scrape the front.)

Regards,
