Ferrari reliabililty since mid to late '90s is very similar to Porsche.

The ride you experience with the GT3 will hinge more on the quality of roads in your area than anything else. The same can be said for clearance. I know which entrances I need to aviod and which one require caution. If your wife complains about the firmness of any ride she will probably have a problem with a GT3. I would suggest that you find a person in your area that is willing to give you and your wife a test drive. It won't take much of a ride to sell you on the performance. The firmness of the ride is a different matter. There are very few cars that can touch the GT3 in terms of "value". Good Luck
