Revs on startup
What revs do you guys have on cold startup?
My car was in for service recently. When I picked up the car I did a cold startup right in front of the mech's office. He suddenly came out his office and told me not to step on the gas on the startup. I said I didn't step on the gas. He said I must have stepped the gas becaus the revs were quite high right on the startup. I've been following this for the last couple startups. It seems that my GT3 (997.1) goes up to 2.200RPM and than drops to 800RPM. Is this similar to your revs on cold startup? If not; what could be the problem?
