how does your system prevent heat soak (hot air from engine bay from being sucked in)???

I asked this before and it may sound dumb to most but were dyno pulls done with decklid open or closed?
IMO it makes a difference.
Regardless the intake looks great, interesting and results appear very good.

I also wonder whether all the other mods on the car were being severely choked by the stock filter and box. So when the new intake was installed it finally released the true potential of the inventment made in the exhaust and chip upgrades.

So with that said, I'd guess that you'd get a far, far tinier gain if you just plugged this intake into your GT3 with stock exhaust and chip. Perhaps ~5hp would be reasonable.

YoopsRacing is infamous around these parts
After all the MAF issues I had with these type of filters on my 996 this type of product really worries me......

Yes I too would like to know about any updates/release, results, pricing and pics. It would be interesting to do real world comparisons, ie.
Have a stock GT3 and a GT3 with just the intakes and do straightline runs say 30 to 120 mph.
That would hands down proof of performance not dyno numbers.

Hi Guys, sorry for the delayed response. The Intake is available for the 996 GT3 and does make night and day difference in HP and TQ, in addition to a nice intake sound. We have not tested it on a 997 GT3 yet, but I just had a customer try to install it on his 997.1 GT3 and said it would have worked great but the hose connector from our Carbon Intake to the throttle body was not the correct diameter, so he was unable to finish the install. I should be getting a 997 GT3 in our shop in the next month or so and I will have the correct connector hose made and verify everything once again. We should also be able to Dyno the Intake and also do some further R&D on the 997 GT3. Let me know if you have any questions and check back later with us for updates.

Hi Mobonic, yes we have pictures of it on the first page and here is another one below. It has been fully tested on the 996 GT3 and we have nothing but great results in Power, Sound, fit and finish. It does not fit 100% on the 997 GT3 as of yet, but we are working on it.
Thanks and let me know if you have any questions. The new Intake is ready to go for all 996 GT3 cars.

Were the dynos done with the trunklid open or close. Thhis has been asked twice already with no response. I would say with it open being that we have not had a response yet.

how do you prvent heat soak??

There is a reason all porsche's and Cup cars use boxes.. to prevent heat soak.
