unbelievable gains if its true. Hell, most modern cars don't even get 10 hp out of aftermarket intakes.

I'd like to see a dyno with the decklid down. If it even shows a gain of 10hp over stock, I'll be impressed....it IS nice looking though, no lie.

Hi Alpine, sorry for the delay. Yes the Dyno was done with the trunk lid open so the heat could escape while the car was running. We also add air to the intake for cooling to simulate street like driving.

There is a reason all porsche's and Cup cars use boxes.. to prevent heat soak.
Hi Mobonic, the factory airbox is plastic which is much worse in hot environments then carbon fiber and our intake sits directly below the Intake shroud and the Fan, so it is getting plenty of cold air when the car is moving and the fan sucks the hot air out at stand still. This unit has been tested on the street and track, and ran much cooler then the stock plastic airbox.

Thanks guys and PM if you have any questions or if you are interested. I will offer a $50 member discount on the intake. We will be releasing this intake for the 997 GT3 as soon as we get the car in for final test fit and Dyno testing.
Thank you,

If weather permits during the next 2-3 weeks (I'm in Norway - lots of snow and salt on the roads) I will do some back-to-back testing of the intake vs. stock regarding temperature while driving on the road. I'll also try to do a performance comparison in 2nd gear (3rd gear will be to much speed on the bad roads around where I live). I plan to use the Durametric software hooked up to the ODBII port to log temperature, RPM an airflow. I'll use a VideoVbox to log the performance.

Later on (March-April) I'll do back-to-back Dyno of the intake vs stock.

The car is a MOY2000 996 GT3 mk1, and the intake has been lying in my garage for a couple of months already.....

Thumbs up

Subscribed for a later date. If these gains are true, I'll be all over this. I'm assuming stock vs. just intake will yield less gains than posted (the combination of exhaust, intake and ECU tune lets the intake further gains for breathing purposes).

Hi Rbt, thanks for the information and I'm excited to see the results you get. Let me know which intake you have. Because we just released this new one a month or two ago, so let me know which one you have.
thanks,
